Every ear is different, so why are most earbuds the same? Bose QuietComfort® Earbuds II change all of that, giving you the power to personalise your earbuds. These next-generation wireless earbuds are engineered with pioneering CustomTune™ sound-calibration technology that personalises audio to your ears. In addition, each earbud comes with 9 sizing options, ensuring the best fit for you.
One of the primary upgrades of the QuietComfort® Earbuds II is Bose’s CustomTune technology, which calibrates sound in a new way. When the earbuds are placed in your ear, a chime is played. The microphone inside the earbud measures the sound in your ear canal and adjusts it to create a perfectly balanced sound for your own eardrums. CustomTune technology also compensates for the differences in individual ears, as the left and right are not identical in shape, size and condition. The result is truly personalised sound balance.
Another new tool to make your comfortable earbuds even more personal is the Fit Kit that comes with each new pair of QC® Earbuds II. The Bose QuietComfort® Earbuds II Fit Kit includes three pairs of soft silicone ear tips, allowing you to choose the pair that is most comfortable for you, and three pairs of stability bands, which wrap around the external part of the earbuds to further tune them to the shape of your ears. Stability bands are made of soft silicone for all-day comfort and a secure fit. The ear tips rest gently but securely in your ears and spread contact evenly. The stability bands hug the contours of your ears for a snug fit. And since no two ears are the same, even on the same person, swap different-sized ear tips and bands to find your best fit.
Noise cancellation is often a matter of personal preference. Bose technology sets itself apart by allowing users to adjust levels to what suits them and their situation best, while others only offer two settings — on or off. If you’re working in a bustling coffee shop, Quiet Mode offers maximum noise cancellation, blocking out customer commotion and sounds like crashing dishes around you. If you’re walking down a busy city street, Aware Mode automatically applies ActiveSense™ technology to soften loud sounds, such as a passing bus, to a more balanced volume, keeping you cognizant of what’s happening around you. If you want a noise cancellation level that’s somewhere in between, you can use the Bose Music app to create up to 10 custom noise cancellation settings, enabling you to home in on the audio you want to hear and block out anything you don’t.
Noise cancellation is just one of the many options the Bose Music app offers to personalise and fine-tune your listening experience. You can also use the app to manage Bluetooth® connections, connect to streaming services, adjust in-ear detection, set phone call preferences, check the battery level, access your voice assistant and create “favourite” settings that you can quickly tap on the QC Earbuds II’s touch interface. Another important aspect of sound personalisation is the equalizer, which lets you set bass, mid-range and treble levels to suit your ears, listening situation and audio quality.
When it comes to the music we listen to and love, the closer we get to it, the better our energy, spirits and productivity become. This makes personalised earbuds quite valuable, and each new tool at your disposal in the Bose QuietComfort® Earbuds II offers greater personalisation than ever. Now you can customise earbuds in ways you’d only dreamt about and create a sleek musical companion that helps you be more you.
