NFC (Near Field Communication) is a short-range communication that requires devices be within a few centimetres of one another to communicate. If your device supports NFC, you can easily pair it with the speaker:
Applies to:
With your SoundLink® speaker powered on, unlock your Bluetooth® device and turn on both its Bluetooth® and NFC features. These are typically found in the device's settings menu. For more information, refer to the owner's guide of your device
Tap the NFC touchpoint on your Bluetooth® device to the top centre of your SoundLink® speaker. Your device may prompt you to accept pairing
Note: You may have to try tapping different areas of the device to find its NFC touchpoint. The touchpoint location varies by device but is commonly found on the back of smartphones
Once paired, you'll hear a tone from the speaker and, if enabled, a voice prompt will say, “Connected to <device name>”. The speaker's Bluetooth® indicator also glows solid white to confirm
