Using Google Assistant

Your headphones have the Google Assistant built in. You can quickly enjoy entertainment, stay connected, get information and manage your day—all without glancing at your phone.

Note: Google Assistant isn’t available in all languages and countries.

Set the Voice Assistant button to your Google Assistant

Before you begin, make sure your mobile device is connected to a Wi-Fi® or cellular data network.

Open the Bose Music app. Connect your headphones to your device and select them in the app

Tap Settings > Voice Assistant and select “Google Assistant”. You may need to tap “Setup & Settings” to set up your headphones in the Google Assistant app

Note: Google Assistant is available on eligible Android 6.0 devices* or later. For iOS devices, the Google Assistant app needs to be downloaded.

Talk to your Google Assistant

Press and hold the Voice Assistant button until you hear a tone. After you hear a tone, say your request. You can say things like:

 

“What is the traffic to work like?”

 

“Tell me about my day.”

 

“What are the latest headlines?”

 

“When is my flight?”

 

“Add milk and eggs to my shopping list.”

Stop your Google AssistantDouble tap the Voice Assistant button
Reply to a message (where available)After receiving a message notification, press and hold the Voice Assistant button to respond. When you’re done, release the button.
