Reconnecting a Bluetooth device that you have already connected
Your product remembers the last several Bluetooth devices it was paired to so that it can quickly and automatically reconnect to them. This is useful if your product connects to a different device when you turn it on, or if you just want to switch to a different device.
Reconnecting a mobile device
IMPORTANT:
When the earbuds are removed from the case, they try to connect with the most recently-connected device. To connect to a different previously-connected device, use the device's Bluetooth settings to connect to the earbuds:
- The device must be within range (30 ft or 9 m) and powered on
- Make sure the Bluetooth feature is enabled on your mobile device
- Make sure the Bose Earbuds are listed in the mobile device's Bluetooth pairing list
When the earbuds are removed from the case, they try to connect with the most recently-connected device. To connect to a different previously-connected device, use the device's Bluetooth settings to connect to the earbuds:
- Go to the Bluetooth settings menu in the previously-paired device that you now wish to use, such as a computer or phone
- In the device list, select the Bose earbuds and they will automatically connect to the new previously-connected device, basically stealing the connection from the device that was currently connected and in use.
Select a Bluetooth® device that you previously connected from the Bose app.
When you power on your Bose product, it tries to auto-select the last connected Bluetooth device. If that device is not available and you've connected other devices, there might be a short delay while it looks for those other devices in order of last connected.
To pick a specific device, open the Bose app, select your Bose product, then tap Source. Here, you can select a Bluetooth device from your Bose product memory.
