SoundDock base is loose

If you pick up your SoundDock system and notice the base of it seems loose or hangs slightly, note the following:

The base of your SoundDock system is meant to be slightly loose.

When you pick up your SoundDock, it is normal for the base to hang down slightly and expose some electronics. The base flexes to reduce vibration from bass, which can interfere with playback of a docked iPod/iPhone.
