Checking the remaining battery charge

Find out how to check the battery level of your product using the product lights or the Bose app, if applicable.

Check the remaining battery charge.

The battery status indicator is normally off to conserve battery power. To check the charge level, press and hold the Power button and observe the battery indicator.
  • iconSolid red: 20% or less
  • icon Solid yellow: 20% – 70%
  • icon Solid green: 70% or more
The battery status LED will always be a full battery symbol.

You cannot check the remaining charge level of a battery that has entered protection mode. If the battery has not been used for 14 days or longer you must first connect it to power.

In some cases, it is possible for the battery status indicator and the “remaining charge level” to become out of sync after a period of inactivity. Running the battery down until you see the red battery status indicator illuminates then reapplying power should resolve this. For more information, see Charging the battery

If the battery status indicator is always red, see Battery light is always red
