Enabling or disabling Auto-off mode

The automatic power off setting lets your product automatically turn off and enter standby if it is not in use for a period of time. This is useful, for example, to conserve power in case your product is accidentally left powered on.

Using the auto-off timer

The auto-off timer conserves power when the system isn’t in use. The system powers off when audio has stopped and you haven’t adjusted any controls for 4 hours.

To disable the auto-off timer

  1. On Channel 3, press and hold the channel control until the additional controls menu appears on the channel display.
  2. Press the channel control to select "Auto Off."
  3. Rotate the channel control to highlight "Off," then press the channel control to select it.
  4. Press and hold the channel control until the additional controls menu disappears.
TIP: You can also disable the auto-off timer using the Bose app icon. You can access this option from the Settings menu.

Wireless transmitter auto-off

If signal is below 10% for 15-30 minutes, the transmitter will go into standby mode. After 30 minutes of no operation, the transmitter will turn off.
