Battery light shows full charge but headset does not state it is fully charged

On a full charge, the voice prompt from your headphones will announce "Battery full" and you can expect around 20 hours of battery life. If you fully charge your headphones but the voice prompt does not announce "Battery full" and instead states how many hours remain, note the following:

Determine if the headphones are running the latest version of firmware.

After comprehensive testing, we found that Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 with firmware version 1.4.12 might state the remaining battery life is less than it actually is. A solution to this issue has been identified and implemented in the latest version of software. Visit btu.bose.com and follow the instructions to update your headphones. For additional information on updating your product, see Updating the software or firmware of your product.

For help finding info about your product, see Checking the remaining battery charge and Checking the software or firmware version.

Does the battery last 20 hours?

If the voice prompt states a number less than 20 hours, but the headphone's battery lasts the full 20 hours, choose "Yes."
